Have you seen the new PokerPro holdem poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about two weeks ago when I took a brief vacation with my parents to the WinStar Gambling den in Oklahoma.

As I anxiously waited for my turn to be acknowledged at the live tables, I noticed how the other individuals at the PokerPro tables interacted with one another. It was quite interesting to say the very least. Because the poker table was computer driven, there have been no poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the actual live experience was stale. Perhaps I was the only one that noticed this, except I did observe the players on the table had a dull high quality to them. The cause of this may possibly be because there was no human conversation with the croupier, the atmosphere was rather dull and the gamblers looked weary. It was almost as if I was viewing a live version of an internet hold em poker room rather than sitting with warm bodied humans. It was a little bit freaky and I kept flashing back to an episode of Star trek and the holodeck broke down.

Since the waiting time for the are living tables was over an hour, I made the decision to observe how the casino game action was and to understanding this new holdem poker gaming technology. Right after wagering a couple of hands, I definitely felt like I was playing at residence. The lack of activity in the table was the main reason. I like to shuffle my chips, stack my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those items are feasible at these computer tables.

One more thing I observed was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I bet a good deal of hands at the PokerPro table and noticed that the play was a good deal like an internet holdem poker website. That might have been just a coincidence, but I found it to become really odd.

After playing a couple of rounds with this "unique texas hold'em poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I'm far better off wagering texas hold em poker online at house and not travel the distance. If WinStar Casino have been to acquire rid of the stay poker tables, I think they would loose a good deal of players.
