Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the western in a wonderful game for new players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the house, unlike the majority of other poker games that gamblers wager against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, beginning players don't need to worry about any other, more skillful people taking their moolla.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the relatively leisurely game play, rookies will be able to take their time and scheme without needing to make quick choices.

It's also easier to gamble on for a long time with only a small amount of money seeing as, to not win, both of your hands must be lower than each of the dealer's hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the croupier is dealt 7 cards face down.

One five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
