Web poker has become world famous recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back quite a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the house instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up just before the dealer declares "No more bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course all of the other players attain five cards. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer's first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or give up. The call wager's value is equal to your beginning bet, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes immediately to the casino. After the wager is the conclusion. If the dealer doesn't have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, including a figure in accordance with the ante. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the casino's hand. The bank pays chips even with your wager and fixed odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
