Poker has become globally famous recently, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV ratings. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely resembling vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or different kinds of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the dealer broadcasting "No further bets." At that instance, both you and the house and of course every one of the different players are given 5 cards each. Once you have seen your hand and the casino's 1st card, you need to either make a call wager or surrender. The call wager's amount is equal to your original bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the bank. After the bet comes the face off. If the bank doesn't have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, including a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand is greater than the bank's hand. The dealer pays cash even with your initial bet and set odds on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
