Internet poker has become globally celebrated recently, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous types on the original poker game have been developed, including some games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to chemin de fer than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the dealer rather than the other players. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or other types of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the croupier declares "No further wagers." At that point, both you and the house and of course all of the different players receive 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the dealer's first card, you must either make a call bet or bow out. The call bet's amount is equal to your original wager, which means that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your wager goes instantly to the bank. After the wager is the conclusion. If the casino doesn't have ace/king or better, your bet is returned, plus an amount equal to the original wager. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the bank's hand. The dealer pays chips equal to your wager and fixed odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
