Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese tile game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the western in an awesome game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the dealer, unlike almost all other poker games that players compete against other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, starting players don't need to worry about any other, more skillful gamblers winning their mulla.

Another Pai Gow benefit is the generally leisurely game play, novices will be able to take their time and strategize without needing to make quick selections.

It is also simpler to wager on for a very long time with just a small amount of money after all, to not win, both of your hands must be under each of the casino's hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards face up and the croupier is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be stronger than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the houses.
